Born in Albany; I was raised in the wood of Lanier County in Teeterville.  We moved all around Lowndes County and finally settled in a home just south of Moody Air Force Base.  I attended Lowndes High School.  Currently I live in Valdosta with my wife and three children.

I attended Valdosta State University and gained a degree in Middle Grades Education in the areas of Science and Social Studies.  Prior to education I attended VSU in the pursuit of a Biology degree before having a change of heart.  I am currently enrolled in VSU again chasing my Masters Degree in Science and Math Studies.

From a young age I've had a passion for science.  From trips to the flats and the river, camping on Amelia Island, hiking the Appalachians, to catching anything that moved; science has been a part of my life.  This background plus working at a Veterinarians office for 9 years has given me experiences that can help in the classroom.
