I am now in my 5th year teaching. I taught Kindergarten for 3 years and this is my 2nd year in Special Education and I LOVE it. Working in a Resource Classroom, I am able to work on Reading and Math goals with my students.

Presently, I hold certifications in Early Childhood (P-5), Middle Grades (4-8) Language Arts and Social Science and Special Education (P-12).

I have been married to my husband, Donnie Sowell, for 15 years. We have 3 children: Ava is 11, Gavin is almost 9 and Ivey Grace is 7. I am originally from Lake City, FL, but have lived in Echols County since 1998. We have the best school System here in Echols. I am proud to be a part of Echols County Elementary & proud to have my children attend here.
